If you fit the profile… we’re definitely interested in working with you. If you don’t… but you think there’s value in us working together… let’s talk anyway.
-
You’re a small to medium sized business or the business unit of a large company doing – or on track to doing – US$100,000 to $10 million in online sales (sales generated from your website). You may be located anywhere around the world.
-
You’ve got the wisdom of a big company, and the savvy of a small company . The wisdom to know that it’s more cost-effective for you to outsource all non-core business and marketing activities to outside experts… and the savvy to expect nothing less than tangible results from any such expert.
And you want to know what we can do for you.

About Kikabink
We - Anna and Simon Johnson - launched Kikabink in February 2006 to help businesses like yours generate and convert more website traffic.
Internet marketing is our passion. A passion that began when Simon co-founded one of Australia’s first Internet Service Providers – aptly named “Internet Service Providers Pty Ltd” – back in 1996.
In fact, Simon was an “Internet geek” long before most people even knew about the Internet, and years before the World Wide Web was even invented! Aged only 14 years old, he began using the Internet in 1989 (yes, instead of sleeping… he stayed up all night playing on his computer!).
Following Internet Service Providers Pty Ltd, Simon and Anna co-founded Shake Communications Pty Ltd. Launched in 1997, Shake was an Information Technology (IT) Security company that offered both IT security consulting services and online products. We also built the first global, online IT security portal, SecuritySearch.Net.
As you’d expect, even then we used search engine optimization to build all our web pages! If you visit the “WayBack Machine” (http://www.waybackmachine.org/) you can see some of the earliest (and somewhat embarrassing) incarnations of Shake (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.shake.net) and SecuritySearch.Net. (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.securitysearch.net)
It was through SecuritySearch.Net that we began marketing – and making money - on the Internet in earnest. What we learned then has formed a fantastic foundation for the knowledge, ideas and services we now offer.
We sold SecuritySearch.Net in 2002. The IT security industry had started to consolidate by then – with the bigger players devouring the smaller companies. We, in turn, were offered a deal “too good to refuse.” Which was great at the time because we were about to embark on another huge, life-changing endeavor: the birth of our first child. We were married by then, and looking forward to focusing most of our energies on parenthood.
The Internet still beckoned however, and Simon began a two year journey writing, publishing and marketing what became the best-selling book on Internet safety, Keep Your Kids Safe On The Internet (McGraw-Hill, 2004).
After our second child was born, and Simon’s book was published, we began thinking about starting another business. There were a few strict criteria that the business had to meet. It had to be something that:
-
We had extensive knowledge and proven experience in;
-
We were passionate about;
-
We enjoyed doing;
-
Enabled us to deliver our services via the Internet and telephone, so we could work with high-quality clients wherever they were located around the world;
-
Had the potential to make a huge, positive impact on others; and
-
Had high growth prospects.
Given our previous Internet marketing success with Shake and SecuritySearch.Net, it didn’t take long for us to conclude that offering Internet marketing services – to help other businesses (like yours!) – generate and convert web site traffic was the perfect business for us.
But we couldn’t simply rely on the knowledge and experience we gained from our previous business. The Internet is a constantly changing and evolving environment for business.
So, prior to launching Kikabink, we spent the best part of a year and a half devoting ourselves to researching and learning about the very latest Internet marketing strategies and tactics for generating and converting web site traffic.
And although there are many ways to generate and convert traffic, we decided to focus on the areas that give you the most significant results.
