When you own your product the online world is your oyster. You can build your online income from affiliate programs or contextual advertising, but what happens when those programs decide to stop paying? You’re left with dozens of useless sites that are pointing to the wrong links and you’re losing out on your affiliate or advertising checks. Clearly, owning the product you are going to sell is the best way to go.

If you’re intimidated by writing your own product, you don’t have to be. In his ebook course “Small Reports Fortune” Jimmy D. Brown shows you exactly how you can build an empire online just seven to ten pages at a time. In fact, he promises that you’ll never have to write more than seven to ten pages about a topic in order to have a product to sell…and sell big! Who has time to write a 50 to 100 page ebook? With his small reports system, you can have your next product up and running within just a day.

The core of the program is a 101 page PDF manual. It’s broken down in Jimmy’s trademark step by step style. He’s a big fan of acronyms and in this book you’ll find out just what S.M.A.L.L. stands for (Selecting a market, Measuring interest, Authoring a report, Looking to repeat and Leverage your assets).

In addition to the main manual, there are five bonuses which total an additional 80 pages of material plus video tutorials. The bonuses include a seven day checklist for creating a small report, a list of ideas for your next small report, a guide to improving your information writing and a promotion guide.

The training covers everything you need to know about writing small reports, from niche selection to how to speed up the writing process to how to start promoting the product once you are done. The videos are helpful if you are brand new to Internet marketing and need to know how to set up your first blog and domain name.

All in all, “Small Reports Fortune” offers a comprehensive guide to starting an information product business that is appropriate for all levels of Internet marketers. New online marketers will appreciate the step by step instructions and the suggested topic ideas. More experienced marketers will be inspired by the fresh approach to content marketing.

His methods don’t just stop at one off 7 to 15 page reports. He shows you how to link several reports together to create a larger product for sale. The whole time you’ll never write more than 7 to 15 pages on your topic. You can realistically grow a content empire in one niche with dozens of short reports.

Small Reports Fortune is so jam packed with information it’s hard to imagine that it would need anything else to be completed. If one area could be called light on information, it’s the promotion aspect of the process. The short bonus report on promotion scratches the surface of increasing your sales, but absolute beginners will probably need some extra help in this department.
