There are dozens of products out there that try to teach people how to make money selling products online. The only problem is that people take that information and then choose topics that are completely wrong for making sales. Desperate Buyers Only separates the wheat from the chaff and shows you how to choose topics and write books the directly appeal to people who are likely to buy from you. They are desperate for information and want to know how to solve their problems now! You can imagine the kind of automatic urgency these niches have, and how easy it is to make sales if you approach them in the right way.

Author Alexis Dawes has been quietly making money with these methods for the past several years. The newest edition of Desperate Buyers Only has drastically changed from the first. The changes that are made are solely about developing traffic to your desperate buyers sales pages, and not about finding the desperate buyers themselves. This is refreshing because a lot of “make money online” teachers develop a method and then leave it out there for eternity, whether it works or not. The fact that Alexis has gone back and edited her book so completely speaks a lot of her character. Alexis wants you to succeed.

Another important thing to note is that this book is enjoyable to read. It’s not a dry ebook full of technical jargon. Alexis is a real writer who engages the audience and the 100+ pages go by in a flash. It’s a book that will require several readings to get the immense depth of the material provided, but those re-readings will be enjoyable.

The core of the method in the book is finding desperate buyers. The manual teaches you how to use existing resources to determine if buyers in a market are desperate enough to make you quick sales. Desperate buyers don’t want to spend money – they have to! They need to! And this is exactly where you want your buyers to be. The book has thirteen different types of people who are desperate for information. This can get your short list started for topic ideas and help you choose the right angle.

The book also shows you how to take existing free resources online and turn them into easy to sell short reports. This isn’t about pulling together PLR material or rehashing the same old stuff. This is about finding the free “insider” secrets that most people can’t find and making them easily accessible.

The only drawback, if it is one, is that this book is definitely not for people who want to write about what they love. Chances are, your interests aren’t going to motivate people to buy your report or ebook right away. If you don’t mind doing the research in a topic that doesn’t interest you, this book can be the start of an incredible online business. The copywriting section could be sold for twice what the book is worth alone. It’s worth a read for anyone who wants to start publishing online.

The copywriting section is well worth a look for anyone who will be creating sales letters, whether or not they will be using the desperate niches method.
