Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate is one of those products that I heard about for a long time before I actually purchased it. The product was ground breaking at the time it was written with its fresh approach to affiliate marketing. Although many people are now using the technique that is shared in the book, it’s still a viable way to create streams of income from affiliate marketing.

The first thing that makes Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate stand apart from other products out there is the down to earth sales letter. It doesn’t come across as a over-hyped product. The author Chris Rempel speaks matter of factly in his sales letter which is reflected in the matter of fact tone of the product. The entire product is light on fluff. He only gives you what you actually need to find the right affiliate products, develop his specific style of site and then drive traffic to the site.

Chris’s approach is simple. Instead of chasing after long tail niches with low competition (and low traffic), he meets buyers where they are…in the process of purchasing. His reasoning is that you’re more likely to get a sale from a group of people who are looking up “Buy Oil of Oregano” than people who are looking for “do I have candida overgrowth?” He’s not interested in providing general information on a topic. He looks to target specific buying related keywords.

In addition to revealing his keyword research technique, Chris details how he drives traffic to his sites.  He stays true to his sales letter promise that he doesn’t use pay per click advertising, but the methods will cost some money to implement. However, with the flood of traffic from these methods the cost is well worth it.

What I like best about Chris’s book (besides the fact that each page is jam-packed with information), is that he points out the small changes that make the difference between the making pennies as an affiliate marketer and making a full time income. In addition to his method for finding buyers when they are ready to purchase he goes over some import tools for making the most of your affiliate marketing campaigns. True to the name “Lazy Super-Affiliate” he cuts out of a lot of the steps that other marketers consider to be essential (like blogging). He focuses on the tasks that make money and then optimizes those tasks to make the most money possible.

The product is 62 pages long and provides a lot of value for the low price $29. There are no bonuses, but they aren’t really needed. Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate is complete in and of itself. The guide is not for beginning marketers. A lot of the processes will go over a newbie’s head, and it isn’t one of those “hold your hand” step-by-step ebooks. However, for intermediate or advanced IMers, Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate is a real eye opener. It turns some of the “rules” of affiliate marketing on their head and it has the results to back it up.

The price is so low you might discount this product as not being valuable when it really is one of the best affiliate marketing products available. Although some of the methods take funds to apply effectively, it’s a unique look at how to zero in on people who are ready to buy.
