Scribe SEO, a product developed to help bloggers to be able to see the mishaps in their writing and hopefully improve their SEO writing skills has been released to the blogosphere. Brian Clark of Copyblogger introduced Scribe SEO to his tribal followers this February 2010.

Brian and co developers claim that SEO Copywriting is difficult and they have put an end to the confusion for the average blogger by creating a tool that…

  • Analyzes what you have already written to preserve your natural flow of writing
  • Claims to tell you what search engines will think you have written about
  • Gives you advice on what to change in you articles to make them more SEO Friendly

Guides about copywriting can easily be found online. Those guides run the gamut from barely readable drivel to compendiums of crystal clarity. But they all have one thing in common: They share specifics and discuss precise word choices. Such guides have there place, but Million Dollar Copy by Paul Myers claims “this is not a manual on writing sales letters”…but is this assertion true?

For the most part it is NOT a copywriting guide. One difference is that examples are not used to reinforce the techniques, but the author does a good job of explaining why he doesn’t use them.
