YouTube Gives You Video User Data
By Anna Johnson on December 31st, 2008Have you used YouTube’s ‘Insight’ feature yet? Last week, YouTube introduced the feature, which allows YouTube account holders to see how many unique visitors their movies have received.
To use the feature, go into your YouTube account and click the ‘Insight’ button from within the ‘Uploaded Videos’ section.
A line chart showing the trend in views and unique users (if selected) will appear. Beside the graph is a map of the world, and beneath the graph is a smaller graph with a scrollbar.
The world map indicates where your video viewers come from, while the scrollbar enables you to pinpoint and highlight particular times when your movie was viewed (e.g. when it was viewed the most).
