YouTube Gets 10 Times More Display Advertisers

According to Google’s Barry Salzman, managing director of media and platforms for the Americas, YouTube display advertisers are placing more and more display ads – including videos and graphical marketing messages – on YouTube.
No question, Google is stepping up efforts to boost its non-search based ad revenues. In January 2010, Google CEO Eric Schmidt mentioned that “the next big business for us is display.”
