Yahoo Integrates Facebook Profiles Into Search Listings
By Anna Johnson on March 3rd, 2009Yahoo has introduced a new search engine feature whereby its users will be able to interact with any Facebook profiles that come up in Yahoo’s search results.
Essentially, if someone’s Facebook profiles comes up in Yahoo’s search listings, you will be able to directly add them as a friend, send them messages, see their friends, and so on.
This is because the search result will incorporate not only the person’s public profile picture, but also some basic Facebook commands (add friend, poke, send message, view friends).
As ReadWriteWeb points out, ya gotta hand it to Yahoo for continuing to innovate in the search space!
