Worldwide Home Internet Users Increase in May
By Anna Johnson on July 11th, 2008May 2008 saw the number of active, home based Internet users increasing in many parts of the world, according to Nielsen Online, and as reported by The ClickZ Network.
Nielsen Online, which bases its findings on a sampling methodology, defines active Internet users as those who have logged on to the Internet in the previous 30 days. As at the end of May, Nielsen found that the number of active home Internet users grew by more than 5 percent in France, Italy and Australia. The number of estimated active home Internet users increased as follows:
