Worlds.com Eager To Sue Second Life and World of Warcraft
By Anna Johnson on March 15th, 2009Worlds.com CEO Thom Kidrin has told Silicon Alley Insider that it will sue virtual worlds that it believes have infringed Worlds.com’s virtual world patent… unless they enter into licensing negotiations.
Worlds.com has already sued Korean gaming company, NCSoft, which sells City of Heroes and Guild Wars.
Thom Kidrin says that if that litigation is successful he will pursue lawsuits against Linden Labs, which owns Second Life, and Activision Blizzard, which owns World of Warcraft.
