Who’s Linking To Your Biggest Competitors? Majestic SEO’s Clique Hunter Helps You Find Out
By Anna Johnson on November 15th, 2010Last week saw Majestic SEO launch Clique Hunter, a search engine optimization (SEO) tool that finds the links between websites within a given vertical. As you might imagine, this is very useful for identifying who is linking to whom and how strong is their relationship within a given industry niche.
Essentially, Clique Hunter lets you choose up to ten websites that compete with each other for a given keyword or market, and then displays the links to these sites. It also indicates the relative strength of a given relationship, depicted by the thickness of the connecting arrow.
You can specify the minimum number of matches Clique Hunter must count to ensure the tool only returns websites that link to that number of the target domains. In other words, if you’re comparing five websites and select three matches, Clique Hunter will only look for websites that link to at least three of those five domains.
Clique Hunter displays different numbers of matches and compares up to 25,000 domains, depending on whether you have a free or paid Majestic SEO subscription.

I just tried it and its a great tool. You do have to pay to get the results though. They filter the results so you cant actually see who the sites are that are linking. Found a strong arrow to one of my competitors, but it doesn’t help unless I pay for it.
