Twitter To Introduce Ads?
By Anna Johnson on March 19th, 2009Twitter seems to be edging towards a monetization strategy with the introduction of house advertisements and some search results on account holders’ home pages.
Right now, the ads link to Twitter Search or the Twitter Widget. As suggested by TechCrunch, it’s highly possible that Twitter is testing click-throughs, traffic and conversions, in preparation for selling ad space to third party advertisers.
Or maybe for its own offers.
