Twitter Gets 20.1 Million U.S. Users in June

By Anna Johnson on July 27th, 2009

Data from comScore indicates that the Twitter website (Twitter.com) got 20.1 million unique visitors in the U.S. in June 2009, 14 percent higher than in May. Meanwhile, page impressions reached 628 million, up 21 percent over May.

While Twitter’s growth in users has declined from its hockey-stick level of growth earlier in the year, these monthly growth rates are still impressive.

Plus, these figures only cover visits to Twitter’s website – not access to Twitter via the various desktop and mobile client applications. These are estimated to account for about half of all Twitter’s usage.
