TweetBlocker is a new tool from Hashrocket that lets you identify, unfollow and block spammers from within the group of Twitter users you follow.

TweetBlocker grades users according to their level of activity, the age of their account, their ratio of friends to followers, and a Bayesian spam filtering algorithm applied to their Twitter stream. An individual follower’s grade indicates how ‘spammy’ there are.

Once TweetBlocker has graded various followers you can use it to unfollow and block them individually or as a group.
