Trust in Online Advertising is On The Rise
By Anna Johnson on August 17th, 2009It sounds unlikely but Nielsen’s ‘Global Online Consumer Survey’ indicates that, on a worldwide basis, trust in online advertising is on the rise.
According to Nielsen, 41 percent of worldwide Internet users trust online advertising.
The highest level of trust is in Latin America (53 percent) followed by Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, with North America and the European Union bringing up the rear.

Not surprising, considering the ability to target a specific audience with a guaranteed ROI, which gives online advertising an effective advantage.
