Tremor Media Tops Online Video Ad Networks in December 2009
By Anna Johnson on February 18th, 2010comScore Video Metrix data indicates that, among online video advertising networks, Tremor Media got the most traffic in December 2009, with a potential reach of 103.7 million viewers, or 58.3 percent of the total viewing audience (estimated at 177 million).
BBE came in second with a potential reach of 101.1 million viewers, with 56.9 percent of the total online video audience, followed by Advertising.com Video Network with 83.6 million viewers (47.0 percent).
Here are the top U.S. online video ad networks ranked by potential reach of unique viewers for December 2009:
- Tremor Media: 103.7 million (58.3 percent penetration)
- BBE: 101.1 million (56.9 percent penetration)
- Advertising.com Video Network: 83.6 million (47.0 percent penetration)
- SpotXchange Video Ad Network: 81.2 million (45.7 percent penetration)
- YuMe Video Network: 76.3 million (42.9 percent penetration)
- ScanScout Network: 71 million (39.9 percent penetration)
- Break Media Video Ad Network: 61.2 million (34.4 percent penetration)
- BrightRoll Video Network: 55.2 million (31.1 percent penetration)
- Adconion Video Network: 55.0 million (30.9 percent penetration)
- TidalTV: 46.56 million (26.2 percent penetration)
The top video ad networks in terms of their actual reach delivered were: Tremor Media Video Network with 30.5 percent penetration of online video viewers, BrightRoll Video Network with 21.7 percent, and BBE with 21.2 percent.
