Time Warner Offers To Sell AOL to Microsoft or Yahoo
By Anna Johnson on July 18th, 2008Amidst uncertainty about the future of Yahoo, Time Warner has signaled that AOL may be up for sale.
Apparently, Time Warner has asked both Microsoft and Yahoo to consider buying the Internet services provider and media company.
A month or so ago, Silicon Alley Insider reported that Microsoft would buy AOL for $10-$15 billion, but this plan seemed to have fizzled out with Microsoft since focusing on a possible acquisition of Yahoo.
