Time Inc. To Introduce Paid Content
By Anna Johnson on March 23rd, 2009Time Inc. publications including SI.com, Time.com, CNNMoney.com and EW.com will experiment with mixing paid and free content in the next 8 months, according to Time Inc. executive vice president, John Squires.
As reported by the Silicon Alley Insider, the motivation is too much (unpaid) ad inventory, which has brought down ad revenues.
But will people pay to access Time Inc’s content? Well, it’s worth testing…
