I was originally inspired to create the TWiST 2009 Highlights Show out of a personal desire to extract and  compile the most inspirational, insightful, interesting and just plain entertaining clips from each of Jason Calacanis’ guest interviews. (No surprises as to what part of This Week in Startups I like best: the guest interview!).

Then it occurred to me that other TWiST fans might like to see my compilation… maybe they’d find it just as inspirational… maybe it would refresh people’s memories when it came to voting for their favorite guest…

Heck, maybe I could create an entire This Week In Startups show for Jason Calacanis and the TWiST crew that they could download, publish, distribute and share just like they have with all the TWiST shows. This Week In Startups – The 2009 Highlights Show could be a bonus episode with mentions of the sponsors, credits and, yes, a little plug for me and my Internet marketing blog at the end of the movie.

You can watch This Week In Startups – The 2009 Highlights Show as an FLV file (above) or you can download the movie in MPEG4 or WMV video format (right-click to download).

These are big files so, assuming the show will be added to the  TWiST video podcast on iTunes and/or uploaded to the TWiST YouTube channel or RSS video feed, your best bet may be to download the movie via iTunes or watch it on YouTube.

If you want an audio-only version (first check the TWiST iTunes audio-only podcast and RSS audio feed) let me know and, if there’s enough demand, I’ll also add an MP3 version. Just be aware that there will be a few seconds of silence for when titles and credits are running in the movie.
