There’s Money In Them Facebook Apps

SocialMedia – which provides an advertising platform for social network applications – has told TechCrunch that one of its advertising clients made over $700,000 in advertising revenues across their 30 or so Facebook applications in December 2008.

Meanwhile, a handful of social application developers such as Playfish, SGN, and Zynga are rumored to be averaging $1 million a month, and SocialMedia has said that it has a number of other clients making more than $100,000 a month.
