TechCrunch50 To Take Place September 14-15, 2009
By Anna Johnson on March 31st, 2009TechCrunch and Jason Calacanis will be hosting the third annual TechCrunch 50 Conference on September 14-15, 2009.
TechCrunch 50 2009 will involve 50 promising startup companies pitching to potential investors, with one winning $50,000, along with an Audience Choice Award. There will also be panels, working breakfasts, lunch sessions, and after-parties. The event will be held at the San Francisco Design Center Concourse.
Co-founders Michael Arrington and Jason Calacanis are no doubt hoping the event will match or exceed the success of the prior two TechCrunch 50 events. Among other highlights at last year’s event, 250 startups pitched their business ideas to nearly 2,000 attendees.
Early bird tickets are currently on-sale, and companies that want to be one of the 50 companies allowed to release their products at the event can also apply now.
The TechCrunch 50 panel will review and approve applications on a rolling basis, with the final deadline on June 30, 2009.
