StomperNet’s Formula 5: Why Paul Lemberg’s Program May (or May NOT) Be For You
By Anna Johnson on January 12th, 2009Next week, StomperNet will be releasing Paul Lemberg’s Formula 5 business growth program (a.k.a. Formula5 and FormulaFIVE). We’re an affiliate for the Formula 5 launch and, as such, I’ll be writing and talking a bit about the program over the next few days.
But, as far as my articles (as opposed to ads) go, I won’t be ‘selling’ StomperNet Formula 5 in the traditional ‘you’ve gotta buy this’ sense. Nor will I be giving you a ‘rah, rah, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread’ product review.
Rather, I will be doing something of interest to you REGARDLESS of whether you ever purchase Formula 5.
Firstly, based on going through Formula 5 myself, I’ll be writing a few articles talking about some of the interesting concepts raised by Paul Lemberg’s material. These are ‘must know’ if you have any kind of business, and certainly an online business.
Of course, I won’t be ‘copying and pasting’ the Formula 5 course material. Apart from being unlawful and idiotic, that wouldn’t do you any good if you decide to invest in the program!
Instead, I’ll be grabbing some of the concepts both in Formula 5 – and in the preview videos StomperNet has recently put out about Formula 5 – and putting an additional spin on them.
(If you haven’t seen Andy Jenkins’ movies – which are educational in themselves – visit this page. You’ll see the latest one, but if you get on the list you may be able to catch up and see all the previous movies.)
Today, let me give you an overview of what Formula 5 offers and who I think should – and should NOT – invest in this program. Now, let me stress that even if you don’t get the program, my upcoming articles about Formula 5 – and StomperNet’s Formula 5 videos – will STILL be useful.
The Formula 5 program itself, however, may NOT be worth buying… depending on where you’re at regarding your business.
Now, forgive me if what follows does border on being a bit ‘salesy’. I AM enthusiastic about this program. But I think you’ll see that I’m quite firm when it comes to who should and should not invest in Formula 5…
Okay, so what IS Formula 5?
StomperNet Formula 5 – An Overview
StomperNet and Paul Lemberg call Formula 5 a ‘complete business growth system’ that includes five (5) key modules. Each of these modules has a catchy name (see below) but, to me, they are really about two things:
- Five KEY strategies you can use to GROW your business profits.
- The dramatic, cumulative effect you can achieve by applying ALL five of these strategies.
The idea is that, while applying each of these five strategies individually will result in more bottom line profits… when you do them ALL, the overall impact on your bottom line is tremendous.
In fact, there are five things I particularly like about StomperNet and Paul Lemberg’s Formula 5 program…
1. You don’t have to be an ‘A grade’ business person to use and benefit from the strategies.
Anyone can benefit from them, no matter how sophisticated or unsophisticated you are. In fact, you’ll learn some terrific business concepts in Formula 5 that will be invaluable to you if you were previously unfamiliar with them.
2. You do NOT have to do each of the five strategies perfectly.
In fact, in both the preview videos and in the Formula 5 program itself, Andy Jenkins and Paul Lemberg talk about the overall power of doing a somewhat average or ‘okay’ job in each area.
3. The economic recession is exactly the right time to apply Formula 5.
The timing couldn’t be better for Formula 5. If your business is going well, Formula 5 will be like a shot in the arm.
But if you are finding conditions tough – whether due to the recession or otherwise – these strategies may well save your business. I’m not being melodramatic. Andy Jenkins and Paul Lemberg are both quoting genuine figures from the U.S. Small Business Administration when they talk about 62 percent small businesses failing.
4. Formula 5 is practical.
The Formula 5 strategies are totally practical and can be implemented within DAYS. Sometimes shorter. Formula 5 is not a program that requires you to learn a whole lot of theory – or do extensive business planning – in order to start implementing.
There IS a place for planning. And there ARE truly helpful programs that revolve around helping you get a bird’s eye view of your business and creating a master plan for your business. But Formula 5 is oriented towards taking action, fast.
You can, of course, use Formula 5 to revisit your business plan… or Formula 5 can fit right into your existing plan… or Formula 5 can be used WITHOUT a business plan.
(And, although I personally find business plans invaluable… if you’ve read a lot of business biographies you’ll know that there are plenty of successful entrepreneurs who have NEVER used business plans.)
5. The emphasis is on PROFITS.
We’ve all heard about Internet marketing programs that teach us how to generate huge amounts of traffic and sales… but at what cost?
And, when it comes to our own businesses, how much do we end up keeping – in terms of pre-tax profits (let alone after-tax profits) – after all our sales and costs are accounted for?
Profits are really what matters, not sales. Profits are what you get to keep. Profits are what you can use to reinvest in your business.
No question, Formula 5 will show you how to ramp up sales, but it’s refreshing to see a program for Internet marketers that specifically focuses on profits as opposed to just sales…
StomperNet Formula 5 – Five Modules
The five modules in Formula5 are as follows.
1. Margin Magnifier – a module that shows you how to position your business for higher pricing so you can make more profits. Among other things, you’ll learn how a slight change in price can dramatically increase profits, even if it reduces sales volume… and how to increase price AND sales volume.
2. Sales Stackers – a module that gives you all kinds of ways to derive greater revenue from existing customers. This includes upsells, cross-sells, selling to ‘long-gone’ customers and other strategies.
3. Lead Landslide – a module that shows you how to avoid being ‘Google Slapped’ ever again! That is, this Formula 5 module shows you how to develop additional sources of leads or prospects, so your business is never again reliant on any one source, such as Google (i.e. by virtue of search engine optimization or pay-per-click advertising).
4. Conversion Control – a module that teaches you ‘little’ distinctions that will increase your sales conversions.
5. Turbo Thruster – a module that shows you how you and your team can become radically more productive. Which means, of course, that your business is able to get more done, in the same time or less.
Who Should – and Should Not – Get StomperNet Formula 5?
StomperNet and Paul Lemberg may not like me saying this, but this program is NOT for two kinds of people.
Firstly, this program is NOT for anyone who does not currently have a business.
Sure, if you get the program you’ll probably learn some great theory that you can apply to your business when you get it up and running.
But that would be a waste of your time, money and resources right now. And it’s questionable as to whether you would end up going back to the program down the track. Maybe you would. Maybe you wouldn’t.
The true power of this program is arming current business owners with strategies they can use to make specific, highly impactful changes that transform their current results.
You just won’t get these benefits if you don’t have a business. What’s more, you are much better off using the time and resources you currently have to research and identify the best business for you. Learn to walk before you try to run a marathon, right?
Secondly, this program is NOT for someone who is STILL in the process of applying the business growth strategies they’ve learned from some other business growth program!
Please don’t cloud your mind or stretch yourself too thin by trying to inject even more ideas into your brain… when you haven’t fully digested the material from the current program.
Please don’t undo the progress you’ve already made by suddenly reconfiguring or re-strategizing your business… before you’ve finished what you started in terms of the current program.
Even if Paul Lemberg’s Formula 5 is superior to – or even compatible with – the program you’ve already started… if you’re like many people, your ability – and the ability of your team and business as a whole – to FULLY process and reap the benefits of either program will be compromised to the extent you try to do both at once.
And, if you do them both at once, will you truly be able to spot which strategy, from which program, caused which results?
Remember, I’m talking about trying to apply two business growth systems at once – not, say, applying StomperNet Formula 5 in conjunction with a program on how to write better sales copy, or do better at search engine optimization (SEO).
The only exception to this is if you are dead certain that the existing program doesn’t work, and that StomperNet Formula 5 is the answer you’ve been seeking.
Also, to my knowledge, this is not a ‘now or never’ deal. I’m not sure whether, initially, there will be a limited number of editions of Formula 5 available… but I’m fairly certain that even if there were, and you missed out now, there would be an opportunity to get the program in the future.
One last thing, you may be wondering whether, here at Kikabink, we will be offering a bonus for people who invest in Formula 5 via our affiliate link. I’m still thinking that through.
In my view, the best kind of affiliate offers are synergistic with the program being offered. Something that either complements or reinforces the material. What do you think? What would help you? Post your thoughts here.
Finally, I was going to do a video showing you ‘what’s in the box’. Again, I’ll put some thought into my next ‘serious’ video.
I do, however, recommend you download Paul Lemberg’s hour-long video which provides a comprehensive overview of Formula 5. Sign up on this page and you should be put in an email sequence where StomperNet sends you Paul’s video. If they don’t, just let me know, and I’ll chase it up for you. Here’s the link: Free Formula 5 videos.

this is a great blog post on Formula Five or F5…
F5 isn’t for everyone, however it is for a lot of people!
actually a few things that Paul teaches like “turning out your lights” conserving through other means where we do throw money out the window, and expenditures that can be cut, in the home or office can drastically help or change in your financial situations.
And really it doesn’t matter how much you have or “don’t have” turning out the lights is a good thing!
I will let you know how much less my electricity bill is next month, and how theses things add up… putting money back in YOUR pocket than giving it away…
in pocket is better than out of pocket!

Thanks for pointing out that “perfection” is not necessary
