Spark Capital Launches Seed Funding Program For Startups
By Anna Johnson on April 3rd, 2009Venture capital firm, Spark Capital, has set up a seed financing program called Start@Spark which will invest up to $250,000 in media, technology and entertainment companies.
Start@Spark will involve Spark Capital making seed investments in promising early stage companies in the New York and Boston areas.
On top of funding, investee companies will get guidance from the Start@Spark team, as well as 10 hours of free counsel from the Gunderson Dettmer law firm. Additional support such as office space and other resources will be considered on a case by case basis.
