Traffic to the top social networks in February 2009 was about 4 percent above that in February the year before, with AOL Community and Twitter the fastest growing networks.

Facebook continued to gain on MySpace, while Friendster.com and Propeller.com had less traffic compared with the same time in 2008.

Based on comScore’s optin panel of U.S. users, the top 10 social networks in February 2009 were:

2. Facebook
3. Classmates Online
4. MyLife.com
5. Buzznet
6. Yahoo Buzz
7. AOL Community
8. LinkedIn
9. AIM Profiles
10. Digg
