OneRiot has made its RiotWise Trending Ad Units – ad units that automatically update in realtime to show advertiser content that is relevant to trending topics on services such as Twitter – available for display on any website.

Available via standard-size Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) ad units, website owners can integrate and display RiotWise Trending Ad Units in the same way they integrate standard ad units from other ad networks.

Our RiotWise Trending Ads link to newly published and relevant content from OneRiot’s network of media partners. According to OneRiot, which first released the ad units in its API last December, click through rates for RiotWise Trending Ads are four times industry norms.

Between then and now, the ads have grown exponentionally across Twitter apps (e.g. ÜberTwitter), social messaging desktop apps (e.g. Digsby) and realtime search engines, such as OneRiot itself.
