Beginning in November, Netflix will charge customers who rent Blu-ray movies an extra dollar on top of their standard subscription fees.

In a notification to Netflix subscribers, Netflix said that Blu-ray movies were more expensive than standard definition movies. As such, those who want access to Blu-ray movies will be charged $1 more per month. This will give them unlimited access to Netflix’s Blu-ray movies.
