MySpace Appoints Ex-Facebook Exec As CEO
By Anna Johnson on April 27th, 2009Following the departure of MySpace co-founder, Chris De Wolfe, from the MySpace chief executive spot, MySpace’s owner, News Corporation, has appointed Owen Van Natta, a former Facebook executive, to the role.
Owen Van Natta was previously chief revenue officer of Facebook, where, among other things, helped negotiate a $240 million investment from Microsoft.
After Facebook, Van Natta became the CEO of online music service, Playlist.
