Most iPhone Owners Download 10+ Apps

According to Compete, 72 percent of iPhone owners have downloaded 10 or more applications to their devices. By contrast, only 27 percent of Blackberry owners have downloaded 5 or more applications.
Meanwhile, by the end of June 2009, Apple reported that it sold 5.2 million iPhones in its third quarter – a 600 percent rise over the number sold in Q3 2008. Moreover, according to Apple CEO Steve Jobs, iPhone owners had downloaded over 1.5 billion applications from the App Store.
iPhone owners sure do love their iPhones… and their apps… which is probably a big reason for why they love their iPhones.
