Make Better Decisions with Hunch
By Anna Johnson on April 1st, 2009Imagine a free tool to help you make better decisions (business or otherwise). A tool that’s not just based on logical decision trees, but one that’s also based on the decision making of other people just like you… Well, that’s the idea behind Hunch, the new tool and business of Flickr co-founder, Caterina Fake.
According to Caterina, who explains Hunch on her blog, Hunch will get to know both you and people like you, and then, when you use it to make a decision, it will ask you some questions before giving you a suggested answer i.e. a hunch.
Right now, Hunch is mainly for ‘contributors’ or ‘power users’ rather than general users, but if you have a big decision to make and want to check it out visit Hunch.
No guarantees it will tell you what you want to hear… or that it will recommend the optimal course of action, of course!

Not really an original idea, though. The site http://www.decide-now.com has been running a similar spoof about decision making for many years.
