Jimdo Offers Easy Way To Set Up Online Store

In the same vein as its website builder, Jimdo Store looks intuitive and easy to use. You can provide a comprehensive catalog which customers can search or browse by popularity, product type, or any other criterion. You can display products in a variety of ways – high resolution, detailed, and from all angles and even via a detail-zoom feature. You can also include additional product information via videos, PDFs, widgets and other multimedia objects.
Jimdo Store offers ‘automatic search engine optimization’ by automatically saving items in the right microformat, and Jimdo is also developing a Facebook application so you can add your store to your Facebook profile or fan page. The company is also working on functionality that will add Store items straight into Google’s Product Search.
The Jimdo Store shopping cart lets your customers add multiple items to the cart, adjust the quantity, and pay via PayPal. Alternatively, for an extra cost, you can give your customers more payment options, such as personal checks, invoicing, pickup, and local delivery. Helpfully, Store also addresses sales taxes in different countries (U.S. Sales Tax and Europe’s VAT) and you can also customize shipping costs.
