Apple also used the even to showcase some of the features of the new iPhone, to be released on June 17. There are more than 100 new features, along with over 1,000 new APIs for developers to wrap their heads around.
Some of the new features include the ability to rent and purchase movies from iTunes via your iPhone, the ability to restrict children’s access to certain applications, and a new ‘Find My iPhone’ feature that lets you locate your iPhone if you have a MobileMe account.
