iPhone – More Popular Than The Blackberry
By Anna Johnson on July 23rd, 2009Crowd Science has released a report, ‘Smartphone Usage and Brand Study’, revealing that 13 percent of mobile phone users worldwide (including about half from the United States) use Apple iPhones, overtaking Blackberry at 9 percent.
If Crowd Science’s other findings are correct, iPhone’s lead will only increase in the foreseeable future.
According to the company’s research, iPhone owners are more satisfied and brand-loyal than users of other phones, with 82 percent saying they would probably or definitely buy another iPhone, and 97 percent saying they would recommend it to others.
Meanwhile, 38 percent of NON-iPhone owners said they would probably or definitely buy an iPhone next, compared with non-Blackberry users who said they would probably or definitely get a Blackberry.
