iPhone: More Ebooks Than Apps in iTunes
By Anna Johnson on March 11th, 2010It seems the relatively small iPhone screen is no deterrent to reading, with GigaOm quoting figures from Mobclix that there are now more than 26,000 ebooks in iTunes, compared with a little over 24,000 games.
That’s not to say that more people are necessarily downloading more ebooks than games, but GigaOm also points to data from Flurry indicating a substantial increase in the number of ebooks being downloaded to the iPhone.
Will iPhone users migrate to the iPad… or will they get used to reading on their iPhone, favouring it as an all-in-one device?
