How To Dig Up Better Information from Google, Faster

By Anna Johnson on January 22nd, 2009

In the last couple of Kikabink Lab articles we’ve talked about how to become more productive by learning to type faster, and how to use certain Google operators to get some pretty interesting competitive intelligence.

Well, how would you like to get powerful competitive intelligence – or any kind of search data – MUCH faster when you use Google?

Just as you can potentially save yourself an hour or so a day when you type faster, using specific Google operators can help you save a heap of time by allowing you to generate better search results.

A similar rule applies when using Yahoo and Microsoft Live, but I’ll focus on Google for this article.

So what are all these operators? Well, definitions can be found on various websites around the web, but GoogleGuide.com is a pretty good site when it comes to explaining how to get the most out of using Google.

In particular, click here for nifty guide to the various Google operators, including explanations for what they do, and how to use them: GoogleGuide.com
