How Much Money Do Affiliate Marketers Make?
By Anna Johnson on June 16th, 2010According to AffStat, 10.5 percent of affiliate marketers make $1,000 or less in gross monthly income from affiliate programs, 7.4 percent make between $1,001 and $5,000, 6.5 percent make between $5,001 and $15,000, and 4 percent make more than $15,000.
Further, according to AffStat’s 2010 survey of over 1,150 affiliate marketers, a significant 15.8 percent of affiliate marketers ‘don’t know’ how much they make in monthly affiliate commissions.
Meanwhile, the majority of affiliate marketers – 55.4 percent – would rather not say… leaving us to speculate on how much income the majority of affiliates make in monthly affiliate earnings.
Here are AffStat’s findings when it comes to affiliate marketers’ average gross monthly income from affiliate programs:
- Under $100: 4.5 percent
- $100 – $500: 4.5 percent
- $501 – $1000: 2.0 percent
- $1,001 – $5,000: 7.4 percent
- $5, 001 – $10,000: 1.5 percent
- $10,001 – $15,000: 5.0 percent
- Over $15,000: 4.0 percent
- Don’t know: 15.8 percent
- I would rather not say: 55.4 percent
