Google To Publish Out of Print Books as eBooks
By Anna Johnson on November 13th, 2008Among other things, last month’s settlement with book publishers and authors means Google has the potential to build the largest bookshop in the world.
The deal, which is subject to court approval, means that Google will be able to scan and sell electronic versions of copyrighted works that have gone out of print.
