Get Ready For Magma… A Guide To The Top Videos Online
By Anna Johnson on May 27th, 2009Magma is a new website that promises to be a comprehensive guide to the hottest videos online, based on data collected from sites such as Digg, Reddit and Twitter.
It’s not live yet, and I haven’t looked at it myself, but TechCrunch says Magma will provide lists of the most popular videos from a number of video sites, including, of course, YouTube.
Furthermore, Magma will also update these lists based on tracking the various video and social media websites in real time. Each video or social bookmarking site has its own channel or video stream in Magma which you can follow like an RSS feed.
Finally, you can also create your own channel or video stream, which others can also follow. (You can follow others’ streams too).
