Flock Abandons Firefox Platform For Chrome

Startup company Flock, which has to date built what TechCrunch calls a ‘social-focused’ browser based on Firefox, has switched browser platforms in favour of Chrome.

According to TechCrunch’s sources, the next version of the Flock browser will be based on Google’s open source Chrome platform. Apparently Flock wasn’t happy with the lack of attention it was getting from Mozilla, which is behind Firefox.
