Felix Dennis: The Truth About Getting Rich

By Anna Johnson on December 12th, 2009

Felix Dennis went from being a high school drop-out, failed blues musician and arts student living in a crummy bedsit without the price of a pint of beer in his pocket, let alone the money to pay the rent… to being a publishing magnate and one of the richest men in Britain.

According to the The Sunday Times Rich List 2009 Felix Dennis is worth £500 million (U.S. $800 million).

No question, Felix Dennis is the epitome of the self-made entrepreneur.

Recently I listened (and re-listened) to Felix Dennis’ audiobook, ‘How To Get Rich.’ I plan to write an extensive review of this audiobook but, for now, let me just say that I was blown away by ‘How To Get Rich’ and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to cut through the B.S. and hear the truth about building wealth.

And while the book has the kind of title typically associated with books written by motivational speakers, life coaches and others who spend most of their time speaking, writing or coaching others about how to get rich but have never amassed more than a fraction of Felix Dennis’ wealth… ‘How To Get Rich’ is the REAL deal.

Actually, I’m all for self-development books, audios, seminars, etc. and have quite a collection of them… but, frankly, Felix Dennis’ audiobook sits heads and shoulders above them all.

Why?

Because there is no sugar-coating.

Felix Dennis’ ‘How To Get Rich’ conveys the realities of building wealth and indicates what it truly takes to get rich (hint: most people do NOT have what it takes… not when they realize the true price involved).

In any case, I discovered the following video of Felix Dennis on YouTube. Listen and/or watch this video first thing in the morning, every morning, for the next 30 days and see if it doesn’t help ignite the entrepreneurial fire in your belly:
