Email Marketing To Rise in The Recession

Based on the input of 1,763 Internet marketers, MarketingSherpa’s Email Marketing Benchmark Guide found that 60 percent of business-to-business marketers said they planned to invest more in email marketing to ‘house’ lists in 2009, while an impressive 29 percent planned to invest in rented lists.
Meanwhile, only 3 percent planned to reduce email marketing to house lists, and 23 percent planned to reduce their investment in rented lists. 37 percent of respondents envisaged no change to their investment in ‘house’ email marketing, while 40 percent planned no change to their investment in rented lists.
