By Anna Johnson on June 30th, 2009

Research firm, eMarketer, forecasts 2009 U.S. retail ecommerce sales to be $132 million, down 0.4 percent from 2008.

eMarketer says, however, that if the economic recession ends this year, online sales will start growing again in 2010, and grow strongly in 2011.
