Digg Dumps Ad Selling Relationship with Microsoft
By Anna Johnson on April 22nd, 2009News bookmarking service Digg is terminating its arrangement for Microsoft to exclusively sell ad inventory on the Digg.com website.
While the arrangement was due to expire in the summer of 2010, Digg has decided to assume sole responsibility for premium ad sales on its site.
Microsoft will still be able to sell remnant and ‘network reserve’ inventory on Digg.com.
Despite the arrangement coming to an end, Microsoft plans to continue selling ‘high-engagement’ ad inventory for other sites.
