ClickTale Delivers ‘In-Page’ Analytics, Introduces Email Tracking
By Anna Johnson on February 14th, 2009ClickTale is a great tool that provides ‘in-page’ web analytics – it shows you what webpage visitors do when they land on your webpage.
ClickTale captures such valuable in-page data as mouse movements, scrolls, clicks, and keystrokes and displays this in the form of videos of users’ browsing sessions and aggregated reports and heatmaps.
As you might imagine, this is VERY helpful in terms of helping you optimize the design of your webpages.
Now ClickTale will deliver similar insights about visitors who land on a webpage from an email.
Basically, ClickTale’s new email tracking feature will generate video and data on each individual user who clicks a link and consequently lands on the linked webpage.
We are currently trialling Clicktale on the Kikabink News website and so far the results have been enlightening.
Perhaps the best part is that we – and YOU – can implement Clicktale on a limited basis for free, and can later expand to a premium version if desired.
