One of the biggest myths in domain investment is that you can’t make money from parking. Yeah, right. The reality is that you can make impressive returns from parking.

1. Wildfire Social Media Monitor
Wildfire Social Media Monitor lets you see how many Twitter and Facebook followers someone has, and how quickly their follower and fan base has grown over time. Just enter the Twitter or Facebook accounts you want to compare, and the tool will display the total number of follower/fans they have, and how these have grown or declined over time.

Broadband Internet users are increasingly using their PCs and mobile devices to watch television online, with 4 out of 10 (39 percent) doing so weekly and a quarter (25 percent) doing so almost every day.
Horowitz Associates’ Multiplatform Content and Services study reveals that the incidence of broadband users watching TV online via PC or mobile device has grown from 34 percent in 2009 to 39 percent in 2010. In its study of over 800 broadband users, Horowitz Associates reports that overall penetration of video-enabled handheld devices has reached 78 percent overall, 84 percent among 18-34 year-olds, and 94 percent among 15-17 year-olds.

If you run a website, you absolutely MUST be tracking your website traffic and usage. What’s more, with free and full-featured web analytics tools such as Google Analytics available, there’s no excuse not to track your website visitors.
On the other hand, Google Analytics is NOT the only game in town when it comes to collecting and displaying your website usage statistics. There are other web analytics tools – some free, some paid – that do a better job of tracking all kinds of things that Google Analytics doesn’t track.

Last week saw Majestic SEO launch Clique Hunter, a search engine optimization (SEO) tool that finds the links between websites within a given vertical. As you might imagine, this is very useful for identifying who is linking to whom and how strong is their relationship within a given industry niche.
Essentially, Clique Hunter lets you choose up to ten websites that compete with each other for a given keyword or market, and then displays the links to these sites. It also indicates the relative strength of a given relationship, depicted by the thickness of the connecting arrow.

Google has just released Instant Previews, which allows you to see a graphical preview of the web pages corresponding to Google’s search results.
According to Google, users of Instant Previews are 5 percent more likely to be satisfied with the search results they click than people who don’t use the technology. This begs the question: what’s the value of a 5 percent increase in the likelihood that users will be satisfied with their Google search experience?
