In other words, after you perform a search, Google will get the web page of the first search result ready for you, before you even click on that result.</p>
<p>Google says it will only pre-render a web page where it has &#8216;very high confidence&#8217; that it&#8217;s what a search engine user is looking for. How will Google develop such confidence? According to Google software engineer, Ziga Mahkovec:<br />

<blockquote><p>&#8220;Search traffic will be measured in Webmaster Tools just like before this feature, with only results the user visited counted.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Instant Pages is currently in beta and set to appear in stable versions of Chrome after collecting user feedback.</p>
<p>No question, Instant Pages will be helpful to Google search engine users who are, themselves, highly confident that the first search result matches their search criteria, and appears to be the web page they want to visit.</p>
<p>Beyond that, Instant Pages is unlikely to provide any revolutionary benefits for search engine users. After all, search engine users who are &#8216;highly confident&#8217; that a given web result reflects the web page they want to see would probably be willing to wait longer than most for the page to load! </p>
<p>It may be that Google plans to pre-render more results, which might be more useful for web users.</p>
<p>So, although Instant Pages is a &#8216;nice to have&#8217; it&#8217;s unlikely to be the killer feature that will prompt a lot of Internet users to dump Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox in favor of Chrome.</p>
<p>What does Instant Pages mean for Internet marketers?</p>
<p>If anything, Google Instant Pages reinforces the value of having the top spot on the first page of Google. Now, along with all the other benefits of being No.1 you&#8217;ll get your web page pre-rendered for search engine visitors.</p>
<p>On the other hand, the feature will only apply in cases where there is likely to be a strong match between a keyword search query and a top result. If there is already a strong association between a search query and the top result, it&#8217;s unlikely that Instant Pages will generate more traffic to a given site. It may make the existing search engine visitors happier, but it&#8217;s unlikely to attract more search engine visitors.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s more, the feature will only work in Chrome. According to Net Applications, in May 2011, Chrome&#8217;s share of the web browser market was 12.52 percent, compared with Internet Explorer with 54.27 percent, Mozilla Firefox with 21.71 percent, and Apple Safari with 7.28 percent. Chrome&#8217;s market share is certainly growing &#8211; it was just 7.16 percent in July 2010 &#8211; but it may not account for a lot of traffic to your site right now. </p>

People who own tablet devices such as Apple&#8217;s iPad tend to spend less time on desktops, laptops, netbooks and e-readers.</p>
<p>According to the results of The Nielsen Company&#8217;s survey of 12,000 U.S. tablet users, 77 percent of tablet users now use their tablet devices for actions they previously performed on their laptops or desktop computers.</p>

<p>Based on the study, which The Nielsen Company conducted during the first 3 months of 2011, 35 percent of tablet owners now use their desktop less often or not at all since acquiring a tablet. Meanwhile, 32 percent of individuals who own both a laptop and a tablet use their laptop less.</p>
<p>Why are tablet owners using tablets instead of desktops or laptops? 31 percent of respondents favor the portability advantages, 21 percent reckon their tablet is easier to use, and 15 percent are attracted by the faster start-up speed of their tablet device.</p>

<p><strong>1. <a href="http://www.analyzebacklinks.com" target="_blank">Analyze Backlinks</a></strong> – this tool lets you type in a URL and then generates a list of links, including anchor text, total links, outbound links, and the title of the linking page. Once you&#8217;re done, you can then check your keyword rankings in Google&#8217;s search engine result pages (SERPs) for up to 1,000 results using the link to SEOTrackr (http://www.seotrackr.com/).</p>
<p><strong>2. <a href="http://www.backlinkwatch.com/" target="_blank">Backlink Watch</a></strong> &#8211; type in a URL and the Backlink Watch backlink analysis tool will generate up to 1,000 Yahoo! back-links, along with the anchor text, Google PageRank, total outbound links on that page, and whether or not the link is &#8216;no-follow&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>3. <a href="http://www.linkdiagnosis.com/" target="_blank">Link Diagnosis</a></strong> &#8211; this is a Firefox extension that generates Yahoo! back-link data. It will display up to 1,000 links per page, along with the Google PageRank and anchor text of each backlink, whether or not the link is &#8216;no-follow, good or missing&#8217;, and the most popular anchor text used. Link Diagnosis also provides charts and reports you can export in CSV format.</p>
<p><strong>4. <a href="http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/" target="_blank">SearchStatus</a></strong> – this is a toolbar extension for the Firefox and SeaMonkey web browsers that displays backlinks from Google, Yahoo and Bing. It also provides data on the Google PageRank, Google Category, Alexa popularity ranking, Compete.com ranking, SEOmoz Linkscape mozRank and Alexa related links for a given website.</p>
<p><strong>5. <a href="http://yoast.com/tools/seo/link-analysis/" target="_blank">SEO Link Analysis</a></strong> &#8211; this tool lets you analyse lists of links produced by Google Webmaster Tools and Yahoo Site Explorer. It gathers the Google PageRank for the linking page, anchor text used on the link, and whether or not the link is &#8216;no-follow&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>6. <a href="http://tools.seobook.com/link-harvester/" target="_blank">SEOBook Link Harvester</a></strong> – this backlink analysis tool generates backlinks – aggregated into each top level domain (TLD) found &#8211; along with data from Whois, Alexa, Google&#8217;s cache, DMOZ listing (if any) and more.</p>
<p><strong>7. <a href="http://tools.seobook.com/backlink-analyzer/" target="_blank">SEOBook Back Link Analyzer</a></strong> – this is another free downloadable tool from SEOBook that derives backlink data from Google, MSN, and Yahoo. The tool grabs and analyzes anchor text, IP addresses, Alexa data, page title, number of links on the page, and number of outbound links on the page.<br />

<p>Conversion Dynamo detects a new visitor and lets you offer a one-time incentive to complete a transaction within a limited amount of time set by you. By presenting visitors with a limited amount of time in which to complete the transaction they are encouraged to take action then and there.<br />
