You may want to check this new tool out. It’s called BuzzGain and it’s a new service aimed at helping small and medium sized businesses optimize their online public relations.

Essentially, the service allows you to:

• identify and track over 150 million ‘influencers’ (reporters, bloggers, analysts, micro-bloggers, podcasters and video bloggers);
• study detailed readership and circulation trends, post frequency and editorial calendars for each influencer;
• and communicate with such influencers using BuzzGain’s integration with social media applications such as Twitter, Delicious and flickr.

The service is NOT free but there is a 15 day trial.
