Business-To-Business Social Networks Booming

And while LinkedIn may lead the pack, more focused professional and industry networks are proliferating, including ITtoolbox, a 1.3-million-member community of information technology professionals, Legal OnRamp and LawLink for attorneys, and Reel-Exchange, for film and video professionals.
eMarketer predicts that as the number of business users of social network increase, so too will advertising expenditures.
This year in the U.S. advertisers will spend $40 million to reach business audiences on online social networks. This is expected to reach $210 million in 2012.
