Brad Fallon Buys Out Andy Jenkins’ Stake in StomperNet

By Anna Johnson on July 27th, 2009

The dynamic duo behind Internet marketing information company, StomperNet LLC, are going their separate ways with Brad Fallon having bought out Andy Jenkins’ ownership stake in the company on Friday, June 24, 2009.

Brad will now replace Andy Jenkins as chief executive officer of the company; Andy will have no further direct involvement in StomperNet.

The news comes as a shock to many in the Internet marketing community. Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins founded StomperNet to great acclaim in 2006, when the company launched its StomperNet search engine optimization (SEO) and Internet business building membership program.

In fact, the launch of the StomperNet membership program n October, 2006 was one of the biggest launches in Internet marketing niche history, earning more than $12 million in sales in just the first 12 hours of the launch.

Subsequently StomperNet re-launched its membership program, ran several seminars, and was also behind the launch of The Net Effect magazine and, most recently, Paul Lemberg’s FormulaFive business building program.

Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins originally came together out of a mutual interest in using search engine optimization to generate traffic to their respective online stores.

Separately to StomperNet, Brad Fallon was (and is) the CEO of Smart Marketing, Inc., a network of wholesale and retail e-commerce businesses. Reportedly earning $32 million in 2006, Brad and his wife began their e-commerce network with a $2,000 start-up investment in an online store selling wedding gifts, My Wedding Favors, back in January, 2004. Nowadays, the My Wedding Favors business is said to be turning over some $20 million per year.

Andy Jenkins, who is also an accomplished feature film editor, has also founded and run several online businesses – ranging from a business selling training on building an online store using the Yahoo Store platform, to a site selling AVID editing software training DVDs, to an online store selling medieval weapons.

The news of Andy’s departure from StomperNet is particularly surprising given that, throughout StomperNet’s history to date, Andy Jenkins was not just the co-founder and CEO of the company, but its main face.

From the very beginning when the company launched its membership program, Andy was far more active in forums than Brad. Subsequently – and even as StomperNet recruited a faculty of SEO and Internet marketing experts to expand its product and service offerings – it was Andy rather than Brad who fronted many of the company’s promotional videos, sent emails to StomperNet’s email list, and communicated with affiliates.

Andy Jenkins even moved from Burlington, New Jersey to run StomperNet in Atlanta, Georgia.

“There is no doubt that Andy has been the major force that has turned StomperNet into the internet marketing juggernaut that we’ve become,” said StomperNet’s affiliate manager Tom Ham in an email to the company’s affiliates.

What’s next for Andy Jenkins is unclear. Here at Kikabink News, we certainly wish him well.

In the meantime, we trust that StomperNet will continue to go from strength to strength under Brad Fallon’s stewardship, and we wish him the best of luck as CEO of the company.
