By Anna Johnson on August 20th, 2009According to comScore, July 2009 saw Americans perform nearly 13.6 billion core searches, with Google accounting for 64.7 percent of the search market, followed by Yahoo with 19.3 percent and Bing with 8.9 percent.
Ask Network claimed 3.9 percent of the search market, followed by AOL LLC with 3.1 percent.
Bing’s search engine market share rose by 0.5 percent between June and July, whilst Google and Yahoo both lost 0.3 percent during the same period.
Will Bing continue to attract more searchers? Half a percent is hardly earth-shattering, but the trend is positive.
