Big Name Marketers To Spend More on Social Media

By Anna Johnson on March 18th, 2009

Despite the recession – or because of it? – most large marketers plan to increase their marketing spend on Internet social media.

Forrester Research surveyed 145 interactive marketers in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies with over 250 employees from around the world. 42 percent of those surveyed expected their investments to remain the same. Only 5 percent said they would decrease their social media marketing investment.
